FAQ

  • 1. What types of voiceover work do you offer?

I provide a wide range of professional British female voiceovers for clients across the UK and worldwide. I also voice in various accents including Neutral English accents, US, RP, Scandinavian, French, Northern English, Scottish and more. My work includes TV and radio commercials, gaming, in-store adverts, audio branding, IVR and on-hold messaging, ADR, dubbing, and animation characters. Whether your project needs a warm, authentic and trustworthy voice with a youthful tone or a nuanced and believable character, I’m a voice actor who is versatile and able to adapt to your unique message, story and audience.

  • 2. What accents or styles can you perform?

While my native accent is a neutral British English one, I also voice in multiple accents including Neutral English, RP, US, Scandinavian, French, Northern English, Scottish, and more. I’m originally from Watford, Hertfordshire just outside of London and I’m now settled by the countryside near Banbury (Oxfordshire), after having lived in bustling Brighton for most of my adult life!

  • 3. Are you a professional British female voiceover artist?

Yes. Based in the UK, with a naturally clear and engaging native British accent. My voice is often described as warm, authentic, and versatile, suitable for both UK and international audiences. As a professional voice actor and singer with multiple awards under my belt, I bring years of experience, an exceptional home studio-quality sound, and an unwavering commitment to delivering every project to the highest possible standard. I’m also friendly, flexible and take direction with ease.

  • 4. Do you offer live directed sessions and do you work with clients outside the UK?

Absolutely. I can record live sessions via Source-Connect Standard, Cleanfeed, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, you-name-it! This allows you or your production team to direct in real time and ensures your project gets precisely performance and tone you’re after. (Insert a chef’s kiss sound effect here!) I work on live voiceover sessions with clients from LA to New Zealand, we’ll find a time that works for everyone involved.

  • 5. What is your turnaround time?

Most short scripts (up to 1 hour recording time) can be delivered within 24 hours, depending on project size and complexity and my availability. I do offer same-day delivery for urgent jobs such as those for my regular radio, in-store, audio branding and IVR clients. Larger projects (such as videogames or long form e-learning) are scheduled based on your deadlines but I always aim to be very responsive, flexible and reliable. Get in touch and let’s have a chat about your project today.

  • 6. How much does a UK voiceover cost?

Voiceover rates depend on factors like script length, the specific usage required and project type (commercial, corporate, online etc.) I follow industry-standard UK voiceover rates to ensure fairness and transparency and I’m a member of the performing arts union Equity here in the UK. Most projects start with a Basic Studio Fee of £300 (as of Nov 2025) which covers all recording costs for up to 1 hour’s recording (suited to most projects), file delivery and internal company usage (rates work a bit differently with e-learning, radio commercials and IVR etc. - ask me for more info.) Then any applicable usage is added on top. For an accurate quote, please send me your script and usage needs and I’ll reply promptly with a tailored quote and we’ll take it from there.

  • 7. How do I book you for a project?

Booking me is really easy. Simply visit my Contact page or email me your script (if it’s ready), usage details (i.e. where you are using the voiceover recording, for how long, and details of any commercial campaigns you’ll using it for), and deadline. I’ll get back to you with a quote. I’m happy to provide a short demo read if you’d like to hear how I’d approach your script - just give me a little direction in terms of the tone and accent you’re after and any references you might have.

  • 8. You're not quite the right fit for this project - can you recommend other voiceover artists?

Yes, I love successfully recommending other voices! I know of so many wonderfully talented British voice actors and voices from beyond the UK too who I can recommend if I’m not the right fit for your voiceover project.

  • 9. What’s your home studio setup?

I record from a broadcast-quality home studio with custom built voiceover booth, high end microphones (including a Neumann TLM 103), Apollo Twin by Universal Audio interface and a new Apple Macbook M3Pro. My proffesional setup delivers crisp and clean audio and has been used for broadcast audio on TV, radio, online and BAFTA winning videogames.

I do venture out from my studio too though! Fairly often hopping on the train and visiting London recording studios for various projects.
